Many people have been in touch with me about the poor quality of the Royal Canal towpath beside Dublin Industrial Estate in Broombridge.

Thankfully, the towpath between Lock 7 and Lock 8 will be resurfaced over the coming weeks. Works will begin in mid-November and will take one month to complete.

Unfortunately, there will be some disruption for users while the works are happening. Diversion routes should be signposted during any closures.
