A new Phoenix Park bus route will be launched in a few weeks. This is something that people have been requesting for years so I’m really pleased to finally see it happen. The new number 99 bus will operate between Parkgate Street and the Phoenix Park Visitors’ Centre via Chesterfield Avenue. There will be stops at People’s Gardens, Dublin Zoo and the Phoenix Roundabout.

The Office of Public Works (OPW) has begun installing new bus stops for the bus route. Once the bus stops are in place, the bus route will begin service. More details will be available in September.
