Dalymount Park is set to receive €25 million in funding from the Department of Sport for its redevelopment. I was pleased to join my Green Party colleagues Neasa Hourigan TD and the Minister for Sport Catherine Martin at Dalymount Park this morning for the announcement. Dublin City Council will provide the remaining funding for the €40 million project.

Earlier this year, Dublin City Council received planning permission for the redevelopment and construction is expected to begin next year.

The allocation is part of €173 million in grants to 35 Irish sports under the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund. Dalymount Park received the largest allegation.
