Dublin City Council gave notice to the owner of 8 Ferguson Road in August 2017 that they intended to enter the site onto the Derelict Sites Register. For 10 Ferguson Road, the process started a bit earlier, with initial notice served in July 2016. In September 2017, DCC decided to place both houses onto the Derelict Sites Register.

8 Ferguson Road was valued at €120,000 and 10 Ferguson Road was valued at €100,000 on 13/12/17.
