Update: 3rd October 2023

The sites were officially vested on 03/10/23.

Update: 19th August 2019

The Council officially acquired both sites on 19/08/19. On the same date, each property was valued at €325,000.

Update: 26th July 2019

The Council issued notice of the vesting order for both sites on 26/07/19, as part of the acquisition process.

Update: 11th October 2018

The Council gave notice of its intention to acquire both sites on 11/10/18.

Update: 23rd March 2018

Following a period in which the owners were given the opportunity to make representations, the Council decided on 23/03/18 to officially enter both sites onto the Derelict Sites Register.

Update: 27th November 2017

The Council gave notice to the owners of No. 19 and No. 21 Connaught Street on 27/11/17 of its intention to enter the sites onto the Derelict Sites Register. The owners were then given time to make representations to the Council.

Structural Temporary Works Designer assigned; Temp Works Building Contractor identified.Architectural Led Design Team simultaneously working on detailed design pack (to allow for partial demolishment & rebuild).Construction Contractor to be publicly procured via eTenders once Tender document pack complete (incl. Design drawings, ITTS, Form & Schedule, Works Specifications, Bill of Quantities, etc.) – estimated advertisement on eTenders June/July ’25
